Police in Watertown say a man from Naugatuck has been charged with hitting a police officer and his cruiser while driving away from a traffic stop.
It happened Thursday afternoon near Lakeview Drive.
According to police, Orlando Ramos was drunk when he put the car in reverse and hit the officer.
