Some parents are crying foul over their children's little league photos.
They say they were forced to wait months for awful pictures and are striking out in their efforts to get a refund.
Melissa Lehle ordered pictures of her son's West Islip Little League team back in May, but was disappointed with the pictures she received after over two months.
“It looks like they took [my son’s] head and photoshopped it on to someone else's body,” she says.
Melissa says the league switched to a new photography company called MiniMajor this year.
“I took one look at this picture that I look forward to getting every year, and I'm just not happy,” she says.
Lehle isn't the only parent who’s upset. In fact, in a private West Islip mom's Facebook group, multiple parents shared similar issues with the company and the pictures, including Kelly Decarlo.
Decarlo says her 8-year-old even laughed when she opened the envelope and saw the photos. She says that the group photo seems completely photoshopped, and that in one of them, a coach was missing.
Other parents say they still haven't even received the pictures they ordered yet.
Many parents say they have tried to reach out to the company but can't find a phone number or a website for the company.
“I just want a refund,” says Decarlo. “I don't want them to try and take this picture and photoshop it again."
News 12 was able to locate a New York City address for MiniMajor, but not a local Long Island address. Reporters also reached out to the company via email but have not heard back yet.
