Elected officials took their bows in Brooklyn after a hard-fought election session.

Winners in the state Senate included Jesse Hamilton in District 20, Kevin Parker in District 21 and Velmanette Montgomery in District 25.

State Assembly winners included Helene Weinstein in District 41, Rodneyse Bichotte in District 42, Robert Carroll in District 44, Steven Cymbrowitz in District 45, Pamela Harris in District 46, William Colton in District 47, Peter Abbate in District 49, Felix Ortiz in District 51, Jo Anne Simon in District 52, Erik Dilan in District 54, Latrice Walker in District 55, Jaime Williams in District 59 and Charles Barron in District 60.

A majority of voters in Brooklyn cast their ballots for Hillary Clinton in the presidential race.
