One person is dead after a chain reaction crash in Kensington. 

The four-crash happened at around 9:30 a.m. Monday on Ocean Parkway, near Ditmas Avenue. 

Officials say the victim, a 66-year-old man, was taken to Maimonides Hospital in critical condition, but suffered a heart attack and passed away. A second person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. 

The accident also shut down the street and tied up traffic for several hours. 

An investigation is ongoing.
