A safe containing about $100,000 was stolen from a business in Cypress Hills, and investigators believe the person responsible may be connected to two other break-ins across Brooklyn and Queens.

Newly released photos show the person investigators are trying to identify. In the images, the man is seen wearing a black baseball cap, black jacket and gray pants. One photo also appears to show him with a Citi Bike.

The largest theft happened early May 26 at a business near Atlantic Avenue and Crescent Street.

Investigators say someone got inside the business and took a safe containing about $100,000 before leaving the area.

They believe the same person may also be connected to a break-in on Jamaica Avenue in Queens on May 24, where about $900 was taken.

A third break-in happened late May 30 at a business on Conduit Boulevard in Brooklyn. Investigators say about $2,000 was taken from a cash register after a window was broken.

Anyone who recognizes the man in the photos is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
