A 14-year-old girl has been hospitalized after being struck by a DSNY truck in East New York.
The incident happened near Wortman and Georgia avenues around 12:30 a.m. Monday.
Police say a 39-year-old man was operating a DSNY truck when it struck the teen.
Police sources say the 14-year-old girl suffered injuries to her leg.
The 39-year-old driver remained at the scene.
The 14-year-old girl was transported by EMS to the hospital where she remains in critical, but stable condition.
