A 15-year-old is back home with his family in time for the holidays after he was stabbed earlier this month inside an MTA bus.
Oscar, who spoke with News 12 exclusively, says he’s happy to be home but is concerned about his attackers being on the loose.
"It's kind of scary," he said.
Police say the stabbing took place inside the Bx38 bus as it arrived on Bartow Avenue and Gunther Avenue on Dec. 9. Oscar was on his way home
when he was attacked by two men. One man punched and kicked the teen, while the other stabbed him multiple times in the chest with a knife.
While Oscar's home, he knows his road to recovery will be a long one.
"My arm...is completely numb. I can't feel it at all," said the teenager.
The ninth grader said "it was really heartbreaking" watching his family worry about him and experience this frightening moment.
Police have not released any information about suspects, only saying the investigation is ongoing.
