A 17-year-old boy was killed early this morning during a hit-and-run in Melrose.

According to police, Franky Hernandez was run down at around 2 a.m. on Morris Avenue. They say his 25-year-old girlfriend, Jasmine Diaz, ran him down with her car following an argument.

Officials say Diaz hit Hernandez multiple times with the car.

Investigators say charges have not yet been filed against Diaz but they may come after further questioning.
