Officials say a teen girl is in critical condition after a car slammed into a Bronx restaurant Wednesday.
The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the corner of Brook Avenue and East 139th Street in Mott Haven.
Two people, a 17-year-old girl and a 40-year-old man, were sent to the hospital.
Eyewitnesses say the driver was speeding and hit two other vehicles before careening into the building. The owner of the restaurant says the driver ran off on foot and that the two victims who were hit weren’t eating at his restaurant.
The Department of Buildings say the building is structurally sound after the crash.
