The first annual Muse Awards honored some of Brooklyn's brightest stars, from the fashion industry to the music industry.
The event was hosted by the borough president and took place at Borough Hall.
Honorees were treated like royalty as they walked down a red carpet and had cameras flashing their way.
Organizers of the event want to continue bringing together inspiring figures and hope to have more honorees next year.
