Police say that a man was shot in the chest in Bath Beach.

The shooting happened before 5 p.m. Tuesday at 1630 Shore Parkway. Police say a 24-year-old man was shot in the chest.

EMS took the victim to NYU Langone Hospital – Brooklyn , where he is in critical condition.
