Two Bronx residents freed from prison this week are soaking up their first taste of freedom after 17 years.
A Bronx County Supreme Court judge released Eric Glisson and Cathy Watkins Wednesday after they were wrongly convicted in the murder of a livery cab driver.
Glisson says he has already enrolled in Mercy College with a free scholarship and begins attending class on Monday, while Watkins says she'll start doing whatever she can to get acclimated back into society.
The pair will be starting their new lives with ankle bracelets that restrict them to the city, Long Island and Westchester County, allowing time for the district attorney to investigate the original guilty conviction.
