yesterdayTwo men were sentenced Monday to up to 40 years to life in prison for a murder that happened at a Valley Stream party.
Kyle Matthews and Isaiah Gonzalez were found guilty in April in the August 2023 killing of Deandre Carter.
Prosecutors say the Matthews and Gonzalez fired into a crowd at the party on Ocean Avenue.
Carter was killed and three others were injured.
