An overnight crash that injured two people on Brooklyn-Queens Expressway left commuters dealing with heavy traffic.

The FDNY says the two-vehicle collision happened a little after 11:30 p.m. near Exit 28.

The injured individuals were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their condition is not currently known.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
