Two people were slashed by person with a machete Sunday while on a train at the East Tremont Subway station.

Investigators say It happened around 4:30 p.m.

One of the victims was slashed in the hand and the other victim was slashed in the face.

The victim who was slashed in the face was also robbed of his cellphone.

Police say the suspect was wearing gray pants and left the scene in a dark-colored vehicle.
