Vendors at a flea market in East New York are scrambling to find ways to stay in business as they face eviction next weekend.
Some of the vendors at the AquaDuck Flea Market say they have paid their rent on time for the years they have been there.
However, they received eviction notices from the city's Sheriff's Office saying eviction procedures will start Sept. 1.
"It's over 300, 400 vendors and we all pay over $1,100 a month. This is not fair for us, we need to get some kind of support," says vendor Imtaz Muhammed.
Muhammed says he's gathered some of the vendors and hired a lawyer to hopefully stop the eviction.
