A 3-year-old boy from central Texas may be the state’s youngest business owner.
Mareck Gomez started selling the icy treats in July as part of M & M Paletas Cart.
This all started when his parents went to the store several times and noticed the toddler always wanted a toy and it quickly started adding up.
“My husband had come up with the idea that he could have anything he wants as long as he's willing to work for it, so let's teach him how to earn money,” says Katie Gomez.
The boy now puts some money into savings, some back into the business and some to spend on toys.
His parents say this is a great way for him to learn about goal setting.
