Police say the man was struck by a 68-year-old male driving a blue Lexus near the Plum Beach exit at around 9:45 p.m. Monday.

A man was left in critical condition after being hit by a car Monday night on the Belt Parkway.
Police say the man was struck by a 68-year-old male driving a blue Lexus near the Plum Beach exit at around 9:45 p.m.
The man was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals Coney Island. The driver remained on the scene, according to authorities.
Authorities say no arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
