Fort Hamilton Parkway Bridge over the Gowanus Expressway to be closed overnight beginning Wednesday

The Department of Transportation wants public feedback on its plans to redesign the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway.

Officials will present its design proposals for the BQE, which include several space improvements for the BQE North.

Changes to the area follow a series of vision sessions held by NBK Parks last winter, which were all part of the DOT's initiative to modernize the BQE.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. at the Bushwick Inlet Park building.
