A man is recovering in the hospital after being stabbed several times in Brownsville, police say.

Authorities say a 28-year-old man was stabbed in the chest several times on Bristol Street at around 11 p.m.

According to police, the person of interest is a woman the victim knows.

The victim is at a hospital and is expected to recover.

No arrests have been made at this time.
