NYPD: Suspect driver wanted for assaulting 59-year-old man in Williamsburg

Police are searching for a driver who they say attacked a man in Williamsburg.

Investigators say a 59-year-old man was walking Leonard and Richardson streets when he got into an argument with a driver. The driver got out of his car, punched the victim and knocked him to the ground. The driver then drove over the victim's hand and fled.

The suspect's car is described as a white Toyota RAV4 with Florida tags.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
