The traffic was not as intense, but the food was just as good for Mother’s Day lunch on City Island.
The cold and wet Sunday was most likely the reason for the smaller lunch crowds at the usual seafood spots.
The indoor seating was packed at Johnny’s Reef – the outdoor section was only suitable for the birds begging for French fries.
