Death of at least 1 person found in Midwood home now being investigated as a homicide
The NYPD responded to a call for gunshots on that day and arrived at the apartment to find the two victims dead at the scene.

Police are now investigating one of the two dead bodies found in a Midwood apartment on Memorial Day as a homicide.

They say the death of Tanezia Blockwood, 29, is being investigated as a homicide. She was found dead in her apartment Monday, as well as her boyfriend, 35-year-old Teddy Knight.
The NYPD responded to a call for gunshots on that day and arrived at the apartment to find Knight and Blockwood dead at the scene. Members of the community say that the two were a couple and lived with Knight's mother and their two children.
One neighbor spoke to News 12 off camera, saying that they were a loving family and that she did not expect any issues to arise between them.
No arrests have been made at this time.
