All eyes in Mercer County are on the television screen tonight as local resident and law student Jamie Ding looks to extend one of the most dominant runs in "Jeopardy!" history.

Ding enters tonight's episode seeking his 25th straight victory. After a series of commanding performances, he has officially secured the 5th most consecutive wins in the show's long-running history, cementing his status as a "Jeopardy!" elite.

To date, his winnings total more than $660,000. His strategic wagering and broad knowledge from history to pop culture have made him a fan favorite and a formidable opponent for any challenger.

While 25 wins is a historic milestone, Ding still has a significant mountain to climb if he wants to reach the top of the record books. The all-time record for consecutive wins is held by current host Ken Jennings, who famously won 74 games in a row in 2004.

Despite the long road ahead to catch Jennings, Ding's current streak has already placed him ahead of several legendary champions, and his hometown of Mercer County is cheering him on as he attempts to add another "W" to his resume tonight.
