Nassau police are asking the public for more information about Wednesday’s deadly shooting at Eisenhower Park.

Nearly one week since the fatal incident and no one has been officially charged with killing 15-year-old Quacere ‘Chase’ Hagans, of Coram, at the gathering in East Meadow.

Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder spoke briefly about the Eisenhower Park incident on Tuesday.

He said the investigation is "ongoing."

"We're comfortable where we are in that investigation," he said.

Ryder said police will give "positive results" in the next couple of weeks.

Right now they're waiting for forensics to come back.

Commissioner Ryder also spoke about park security. He said the county executive has authorized extra resources in the park. "You will see the horses going around, you’ll see quads out there, plainclothes and a uniformed presence in the park," Ryder said.

The Homicide Squad is looking to identify more people involved with the alleged Bloods gang-related shooting that injured two other people at Field 2 on Apr. 15.

The 31 and 28-year-old male victims were taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

Commissioner Ryder told News 12 on Friday that he believes they have the shooter in custody, but no identity for that person or charges have been released.

Ryder further revealed that detectives recovered both of the weapons that were involved, and said the victim, a Longwood High School student, was one of the shooters.

As News 12 has reported, a 17-year-old male juvenile was arrested near the scene and charged with weapon possession.

Anyone with information can call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911.

All calls remain anonymous and reward money is available for details that lead to additional arrests.
