The Wakeman Boys & Girls Club honored the accomplishments of its members Tuesday.
The organization held its annual Hand in Hand event at its Madison Avenue clubhouse in Bridgeport.
Teens and kids who are members were honored for their achievements in academics, health and well-being, leadership and more.
Among the awards given out was Youth of the Year, which went to Maya Patten, of Fairfield.
Staff, adult volunteers and community partners were also honored for the work and involvement.
