The FDNY says it responded to a deadly incident in East New York around 6:45 p.m. Friday.
Information about the circumstances of the death was not immediately made available.
The National Grid says it responded to a suspected carbon monoxide incident at 715 Hemlock St. and determined there was no carbon monoxide gas present and no gas leak.
EMS pronounced a person dead at the scene, according to fire officials.
