Patchogue man dies in head-on-crash on Bethpage State Parkway

A 23-year-old man from Patchogue has died in Friday's Bethpage State Parkway crash.
State police say that Jordan Nasir St. Fort Colin was driving his 2012 Nissan Altima when a 2019 Hyundai Sonata crossed over the double yellow line and hit him head on.
As News 12 previously reported, police say the crash happened around 9:30 a.m. and closed the parkway in both directions for multiple hours
The operator of the Hyundai Sonata was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
