A 23-year-old Norwalk man has been charged with multiple child exploitation offenses.
Court documents show that the Putnam County Sheriff's Office arrested Marcos Francisco Javier Gomez on April 3, 2024, after he traveled to New York to allegedly meet with a 13-year-old girl.
Additional documents show that Gomez engaged in explicit sexual communications with the minor.
Court-authorized searches through Gomez’s cellphone revealed evidence that he had been communicating with at least five minor females in Connecticut.
Gomez requested that the minor victims send him videos depicting them engaging in sexually explicit conduct, and had sent obscene images of himself to at least one of the minor victims.
Gomez is currently serving a prison sentence due to his relations with the New York victim.
