Man stabbed multiple times near Canarsie housing complex

A 34-year-old man was stabbed multiple times near a housing complex in Canarsie, police say.
Officers responded to 5905 Shore Parkway just after 2 p.m. Monday. News 12 cameras spotted crime scene tape blocking off the sidewalk and wrapping around multiple parked cars - one with blood on its hood.
The NYPD says the man suffered stab wounds to his chest, back and stomach.
Paramedics rushed him to Brookdale Hospital, where he is expected to recover, according to police.
Information about where the stabbing occurred - inside or outside the building - was not immediately known.
Police sources tell News 12 that the victim is not cooperating with the investigation.
