The second man accused in a gunpoint robbery of a Mount Vernon gas station was caught Tuesday after a year on the run.

Prosecutors say authorities arrested 40-year-old Eric Boothe in the Poconos where he was hiding since last August.

Police say Boothe and Jamaire Robertson robbed the gas station at 30 Mount Vernon Ave. at gunpoint on Aug. 29, 2025.

Officers say the pair began shooting at police officers who responded to the scene.

Police arrested Robertson soon after.

Boothe was taken into custody after an investigation by the FBI, Mount Vernon police and authorities in Pennsylvania.
