NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch says officers seized $10 million worth of cocaine in a massive drug trafficking bust.
Officials say three people were taken into custody in connection to the investigation.
Police arrested 35-year-old Nelson Salcedo, from New Jersey, in Long Island City on Aug. 26.
Police say Salcedo dropped off cardboard boxes to someone in Manhattan two weeks ago.
They found 580 pounds of cocaine inside and on the ground near Salcedo's vehicle when they arrested him.
