A 69-year-old man was fatally shot during a home invasion in Flatbush Wednesday morning.

Police say three suspects knocked on the door of Leonard Phillips' house. When his 71-year-old sister answered, police say the men forced their way inside and tied her up. Phillips confronted them and was shot in the head.

Phillips was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police say one of the suspects was wearing a white sweatshirt with a green stripe on it. Another suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
