A Brooklyn organization and several other volunteers renovated Bedford Central Presbyterian Church Saturday in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
Members of 500 Men Making a Difference painted walls, replaced light fixtures, and refurbished floors.
It's part of a 72-hour service project that started Friday night and will run through Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday.
Organizers of the event say they want to continue Dr. King's legacy by making an impact on the community.
This is the 10th annual service project for the organization and they say they hope to continue making a difference for many years to come.
