The surviving victim in the double stabbing of two children in East New York has been released from the hospital.
A hospital spokesperson confirmed that 7-year-old Mikayla Capers was discharged after she and her friend Prince Joshua Avitto, 6, were stabbed in the elevator of their apartment building more than a week ago.
Avitto, also known as PJ, died from his injuries.
Kings County District Attorney Ken Thompson announced Wednesday a five-count indictment charging Daniel St. Hubert in connection with the stabbings.
