Food, fun and video games are on display at Bed-Stuy's new hangout 8-Bit Bites.

The fun starts right when visitors walk in the door with an illuminated floor and cosplay characters. The reactions, according to employees, are priceless with visitors saying it's unlike anything they've seen.

Video game consoles are placed at every table with more than 2,000 games available to play. No quarters are needed either as all the games are free to play. So, what's the catch? Just buy some of the establishment's food!

Owner Ali Ahmed adds the food is just as important as the novelty and nostalgia of 8-Bit Bites. New specials are offered every month along with milkshakes mixed with favorite breakfast cereals.

An idea that was hatched less than a year ago has already expanded to six locations throughout New York City. Ahmed says plans to grow to 10 locations throughout the city by the end of the year.
