? Parents with kids in P.S. 160 in Borough Park say a nearby abandoned construction site is causing unsanitary conditions.

The site has been empty for about five years, but parents and educators say it?s crawling with rodents, trash, flies and stagnant water. The principal claims a rat recently ran across the cafeteria floor. The school has contacted the city?s 311 help line, health and building officials.

Parents hope the problem is fixed before their children become sick from deplorable conditions next to the school.
