More monkeypox vaccination sites are set to open around New York City Sunday.
According to the New York City Department of Health, 839 people have tested positive for the virus as of Friday.
In order to deal with the increasing number of cases, vaccination sites will be opened at the Science Skills Center High School in Brooklyn, I.S. 125 in Queens and the Bronx High School of Science.
The City Health Department website states that in order to fit the eligibility requirements for the vaccine, you must be 18 years or older, gay, bisexual, a man who has sex with other men, be cisgender or transgender and recently been intimate with multiple anonymous partners.
