The milling of Colonial Avenue between Pelhamdale Avenue and Manor Ridge Road in Pelham began at 8 a.m., and is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Tuesday, Aug. 23.
The paving is tentatively scheduled to start, weather permitting, on Aug. 26 at 8 a.m. and is expected to be completed by the end of the day.
Colonial Avenue will be open for use but intermittently shut down to vehicular traffic during the street paving services to minimize impacts.
The Village of Pelham Police Department will ensure traffic flows smoothly during this process.
The contractor has been advised to keep the work area safe and clean during this work period.
