Appreciation Sunday: Doctors, teachers, first responders honored at New Life Tabernacle

Over 100 members of the New Life Tabernacle Church were honored at an Appreciation Award Ceremony on Sunday.
The church honored and thanked police officers, firefighters, first responders, doctors, nurses and teachers for their services and impact on the lives of the community. Bishop Michael Mitchell, the senior pastor, says that it’s important to celebrate these heroes who have been serving the community for decades.
The congregation started 30 years ago with only 12 members. They now have close to 1,500 members.
