The boyfriend of a woman who was found fatally stabbed in her Wakefield apartment, along with her child, is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday.
Officials arrested 20-year-old Camor Harding for the murders of Yolande Beckford, 25, and her 6-year-old daughter, Monique. The two were found stabbed Tuesday in their fourth-floor Furman Avenue apartment.
Friends and relatives called 911 after they didn't hear from Beckford. Police climbed the fire escape to the window, where they found the victims.
Grief counselors were at the girl's school Wednesday to help classmates cope with her loss.
Harding is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
