Artist Adrian Wilson is making sure Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's name and legacy still catches the eyes of many, even underground.

The New Jersey artist, along with Matt Duncan, turned the 50th Street C and E train station signs into Ruth Street, honoring the late justice his own way.

"I have a list of all the stations on the Internet and go down,” he says “Usually people go where they lived and put candles and flowers and stuff which is great, but in this world, it's kind of creating a meme that people can literally just forward.”

Wilson says the artwork has one goal – for both tourists and native New Yorkers.

"I just use stickers, so you can just peel it off. It's not ruining the subway station, it's not making tourists confused. It's meant to be lighthearted, fun, to commemorate somebody who everyone loves," he says.

The artist, who has brought tributes at the times of other icons deaths, from Prince to Aretha Franklin, says bringing smiles to people's faces is necessary.

"A lot of people are going through a lot of stress…grief, misery, and you know what, one little quirky, little sticker, can makes people smile…I'm really happy to be a part of that, really," Wilson says.
