The Southern Connecticut Chapter of ASIS International held its Law Enforcement Recognition Luncheon at the Smith Richardson Golf Course in Fairfield Tuesday.
Six officers from the Fairfield, Westport, Norwalk and Stamford police departments received well-deserved honors for going above and beyond the call of duty.
"I think now more than ever it's really important to recognize the good work that law enforcement does,” said Joshua Zabin, Co-Vice Chair of ASIS Southern Connecticut chapter. “We have seen time and time again negative stories about law enforcement, and we leave behind all the good people doing all the good work and there are amazing things going on in every community big and small.
ASIS is a global community of security professionals and has 107 chapters worldwide.
