Back-to-school supply drive held for children living in Domestic Violence Crisis Center's safe houses

The Westport Domestic Violence Task Force is holding an annual back-to-school supply drive for children living in the Domestic Violence Crisis Center's safe houses.
The Domestic Violence Crisis Center provides crucial services to local domestic violence survivors to help them and their families get back on their feet.
The Westport Domestic Violence Task Force was founded several years ago. The grassroots organization is made up of law enforcement, psychologists, clergy members and other members of the community.
The supplies gathered through the organization's campaign are donated to children living in the Domestic Violence Crisis Center's safe houses.
The task force is asking for new backpacks, lunchboxes, notebooks, pens, pencils and crayons.
Donations can be made at the drop location inside the lobby of the Westport Police Headquarters through July 26.
