An animal rescue based in Brooklyn is in the running to win a van filled with thousands of pounds of pet food.
Murphy Thiel found one of three keys hidden throughout the city as part of a scavenger hunt sponsored by the organization Get-A-Pet, which finds homes for abandoned animals.
Thiel discovered the key in Brooklyn Bridge Park after following clues posted on Twitter. If she has the winning key, she's picked Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue to receive the grand prize.
One of the keys will unlock the van this Sunday.
