A battle-scarred Brooklyn flag carried into Operation Desert Storm in 1990 was presented to a group of Brooklyn veterans by Borough President Eric Adams Friday.
The flag features burned fragments from an enemy scud missile during an attack in Saudi Arabia.
It will be carried by Sgt. Carlton Richardson in the upcoming Veterans Day Parade in Manhattan.
Richardson told News 12 that it's an honor to represent the borough's veterans.
