A 29-year-old Bay Shore man was issued a noise violation after playing concert-level music on several speakers in a parking lot Tuesday night, according to police.

His speakers were also taken by authorities.

Officials say the blaring music was heard in both towns of Smithtown and Hauppauge around 9 p.m. When police arrived, they found eight concert grade speakers being used while connected to his car battery.

Jose Santana, is an employee of Relocators, and the parking lot he played music in was at 335 Kennedy Drive in Hauppauge, police say.

He was issued the violation by the Suffolk County police, who were assisted by the Town of Smithtown Public Safety officers.
