One Bed-Stuy day care center says it's serving up more vegetables and meat-free meals to its kids than ever before.
Jasmine Ray, the executive director, says she serves three meatless days as part of a healthy eating program. The school also replaced white bread, potatoes and rice with whole-wheat bread, brown rice and sweet potatoes.
Ray is a vegetarian herself.
She's also the president and founder of the United States Wall Ball Association and says she wants to pass on her active lifestyle and healthy eating habits.
