A Bedford park woman says she and her kids are living in constant fear after a family member was shot during a break-in at their home.
Tashawnya Richardson says on June 27, her brother was visiting her when someone broke into the home. She says her brother came face-to-face with the intruder and moments later, she found him lying on the floor in his own blood.
Police confirm he was shot multiple times.
Richardson says her brother has recovered but adds that their lives have been turned upside down. She says bullet holes are still visible throughout the apartment.
Richardson says her children are still fearful the shooter will come back. She has begged her landlord to find her a transfer apartment but that hasn't worked. Richardson has also reached out to Homebase and NYPD Crime Services but has had no luck.
Police tell News 12 no arrests have been made.
