About 15 teens from Brooklyn who are dealing with issues ranging from family separation to violence at home are getting the special treatment thanks to a cosmetic dentist.
With the help of Bensonhurst Dental, the teens from the city’s Administration of Children’s Services are getting X-rays, a cleaning and teeth whitening for Thanksgiving.
The dental team says it is giving away the services for free, which all in all cost thousands of dollars.
Bensonhurst Dental has been on the corner of 80th Street and 19th Avenue for the last 30 years, and this Thanksgiving, dentists say they wanted to give back to those who don't have access to the best dental care.
Dr. Daniel Rubinshtein says the goal is to give the teens confidence, and hopefully inspire them.

“I’m welcoming them with open arms and making them feel like family,” says Dr. Daniel Rubinshtein. “We’re doing cleanings, check-ups, things that prevent things from happening and that’s what we’re trying to do here.
